India's most popular sports is Cricket.Indian Cricket team is represented as a International Cricket team.Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) governed the Indian team.In 1932 India played the first test match against England.

India's Achievements in International Cricket:-
In 1983 india won the prudental world cup against west indies in england by 43 runs. This was the first cup won by India. In 1984 india won the Asia cup at sharjah. In 1985 Bensen and Hedges World Championship cup at Australia. In 1985 Rothmans Trophy cup at sharjah. In 1985 won the first sharjah cup at sharjah. After a little gap again won the Asia cup at Bangladesh in 1988. In 1990 India again won the Asia cup at his mother land. In 1993 won the Hero cup in India. In 1994 India won the singer cup at Sri Lanka. In 1995 India won the Asia cup at sharjah.

Twenty Twenty:-
In 2007 India won the Twenty Twenty world cup under the captaincy of M.S Dhoni.

• Against England India played 81 test match 14 matches won, 31 matches Loss, 36 matches Draws.
• Against Australia played 50 test match 8 matches won, 24 matches Loss, 17 matches Draws and 1 match Tie.
• Against West Indies played 64 test match 7 matches won, 27 matches Loss, 30 matches Draws.
• Against Pakistan played 44 test match 4 matches won, 7 matches Loss, 33 matches Draws.
• Against New Zealand played 35 test match 13 matches won, 6 matches Loss, 16 matches Draws.
• Against Sri Lanka played 14 test match 7 matches won, 1 match Loss, 6 matches Draws.
• Against Zimbabwe played 2 test match 1 matches won, 1 match Draw.
• Against South Africa played 4 test match 1 match Loss, 3 matches Draws.

So totally 294 test matches played by India. 54 matches won, 97 matches Loss,142 matches Draw and 1 match Tie. These are up to 1995-96 India vs New Zealand match.

Domestic Tournaments in India:-

• Duleep Trophy
• Ranji Trophy

These two Trophy's are played within the states in India. The Various Team from North, East, West, South are grouped as Zones. The Players played well in these Trophy are getting a option in International Team. So these Trophy's are really important for Indian Team Players. In India new bowlers and batsmans are getting option for playing in International Team. This ia really a good one.
